MINUTES

May 11, 2006

This short meeting, held while people were going through the buffet line at the awards banquet, was called to order by President Richard Anderson at 6:41 p.m.

The Minutes for the April meeting, which were transmitted by e-mail, were corrected as follows:  The MPA officers are voted on, but the committee chairmen are not; and the May MPA meeting is held during the awards banquet.

Treasurer’s Report:  Pat Brune will present her report at the June meeting.

Old Business: 

The senior yard signs should be done by the end of marching band camp.  Bruce Breslow and Richard Anderson will coordinate this.

The Nominating Committee presented a slate of officers, which the MPA members present voted to accept:       President – Richard Anderson

                                                Vice-President – Syl Washington

                                                Secretary – Ruth Wilson

                                                Treasurer – Pat Brune

The Ways and Means, Home Tailgates, and Away Tailgates committees need chairmen.

The next MPA meetings will be June 12 (this was later changed to June 5 because of conflicts for Mr. Jones and Mr. Bonsignore), and August 7.  There will be no July meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:47 p.m.
